Mexican guilty in '96 stabbing death of 13-year-old California girl
A 31-year-old man was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder in the 1996 death of Sophia Briseno, a 13-year-old who was stabbed dozens of times with screwdrivers and left in an open field near a Murrieta cemetery. -- Crispin Solorio Garcia, who was 17 at the time of the murder, faces life in prison...
